Besides bollywood there is a huge market for classical songs, qawalli, ghazals, kirtans, bhajans and other devotional music. The market for these songs too is so huge that singers are requested to perform abroad at various locations.
Out of all the languages that exist in India, Hindi songs bite in a larger share of the market. As it is the national language, it is understood from north to south and with voices like Alka Yagnik, Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh, Udit Narayan, Alisha Chinai and other renowned singers you are sure to melt with their melodious voices.
So Indian Hindi songs were and will always be entertaining the classes and masses. Be it in your car audio or riksha you travel in, Hindi songs are everywhere. Even for a social gathering or a party, Hindi songs once played get everyone in the mood. Be it the somber music or the latest jatkas they are preferred by young and old alike.
