India is country significantly high in heritage and culture. This is because of the various kingdoms that ruled over the country in centuries bygone. Each dynasty brought in art, literature and religion unique to its cult.

So art in India is as diverse as its people. From paintings to poetry, from architecture to couture, art is visible everywhere. A trip to the north will help you observe the unique curves of the forts and palaces; these were the last of the Mughal Empire. The paisley motifs are very different from that of French architecture where pastel paisley motifs are visible everywhere.

Moreover the royal rooms were heavily crafted with semi-precious stones giving the architecture a glorious mood. Move west and you will see the prints on materials are distinct to Gujarat. The handwork done on clothes, shoes and even on the houses is remarkable.

The arts of India are visible down south with classical singers like pandit Jasraj who has made an international reckoning with his voice. Kavita Krishnamoorty and Udit Narayan are some of the music stars that have enhanced the art of singing.

The west is filled with artistic individuals who have a nose for creativity. They are singers, dancers, lyricists, linguists and more. Art here is visible in almost every second person.

In the early years there were no institutes that helped enhance the quality of an individual but today renowned universities offer diplomas and short courses in any art form. Honing your skills right from the beginning.

Famous Indian artists that have been churned out from the womb of the country reckoned for their painting are M.F. Hussain, Tyeb Mehta, Krishna Khan, Ram Kumar, Krishnamchari Bose, S.K. Bakre, Geeta Vadhera, Subodh Gupta and many more. A walk into the Jehangir Art Museum at Mumbai and you will reckon art in all its form.

Indian has always given birth to artists that bring to the country pride and integrity with their various forms of art.
